Equator Liner

Why mark the Ball?

Several Benefits accrue from having the equator marked. Set the ball for putting with the equator aligned with the equator aligned with aiming direction you have chosen. The line will assist in sqaring or aiming the putter. Striking the ball on the equator will eliminate any possible effect caused by striking the dimple pattern. A properly struck putt will cause the ball to roll with no wobble of the equator line, giving instant feedback as to the quality of the stroke. With practice, you will be able to "call" a good or bad putt.

* All golf balls have an equator, some more obvious than others. It is the seam created by fusing the two hemispheres of cover material in the final step in the manufacturing process, which step also creates the dimples.
