Putt For Dough With Putt Rich
"Drive for show and putt for dough." We know that old adage is true but how many of us ever take a putting lesson? Left to our own design, most of will continue to commit improper mechanics to muscle memory. Enter Woodrich Designs, with a better design!
According to the folks at Woodrich Designs, success at golf is based on consistent repetition of swing or putting stroke. Their Putt Rich platform is designed to reduce the number of variables in the stroke and enhance the understanding of several phenomena, including the eyes. They say, "Train your eyes and tame the ball!"
John Richmond, designer of the Putt Rich system, says, "Two apertures on our platform align a player with their eyes vertically over the ball. Guide lines and a putter rail help the player to learn to hit the ball squarely."
A golf ball liner to mark the equator of the ball gives a square putt with a better chance of reaching the hole.
I learned about the Putt Rich system while leafing through one of my favorite golf publications, Golf Tips. They like the system and think it does what the manufacturer promises. After seeing the Putt Rich platform, I have to agree. ItŐs got me hooked!
